We are delighted to introduce Casa Abejas, a beautifully restored Colonial home nestled in the heart of San Miguel de Allende's Centro Historico. This exquisite property is ideally located less than two blocks from the Jardin and directly across from the iconic Templo Immaculada, affectionately known as Las Monjas by locals.
Description
Casa Abejas offers unparalleled views, with the striking red dome of Las Monjas' cupola soaring above its two courtyards, each adorned with gently gurgling fountains. The rooftop provides a magnificent 360-degree panorama of the entire town.
**Sleeping Accommodations:** The home features four bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds, the third with a queen-sized bed, and the fourth with twin beds. All linens are of the highest quality.
**Dining Experience:** The spacious and inviting chef's kitchen, overlooking the street, is a culinary delight. It boasts a wood-burning fireplace, a large skylight, and historically reproduced Talavera tiles. You can choose to prepare your own meals or have Josephina, our talented cook, create delicious dishes for you. She is also happy to handle grocery shopping; simply provide the funds, and she will furnish receipts. An adjoining formal dining room comfortably seats eight guests.
**Entertainment & Amenities:** The luxuriously furnished grand sala features a large Smart TV and a game table, perfect for an afternoon of bridge. The antique fireplace in this room is rumored to have come from the home of General Aldama. You can also enjoy the unique experience of sitting on the courting benches by the street window. The grand sala opens to an outdoor sala with a wood-burning fireplace, just steps away from the heated swimming pool, where an additional full bath is conveniently located.
Upstairs, the cantina on the terrace offers stunning views of the mountains and a prime spot for observing the September Fiestas Patrias parades. Gregorio, one of San Miguel's most experienced bartenders, is available upon request to craft incredible drinks for you and your guests – his margaritas are legendary\!
Finally, a cocktail deck atop the second-floor bedrooms provides a spectacular vantage point for enjoying the frequent fireworks displays.
