Casa Tres Leones

Casa Tres Leones is an elegant 5 bedroom house, in Centro, on Aldama, one of the premier streets in San Miguel. Situated just a few blocks from the Jardin, Tres Leones was recently decorated and updated by the design team of Andrew Fisher and Jeffry Weisman of FisherWeisman San Francisco.

The house has an outstanding garden with palm trees and two large jacaranda trees, as well as, a lap pool, hot tub, and two dramatic fountains, all which have been carefully lit for night time entertaining. One of the many outstanding features of the house are the numerous outside sitting and entertaining areas . The top terrace has stunning views of the Parroguia and San Miguel's spectacular sunsets. The middle level terrace connects the two sides of the house and contains a sunny dining spot for Christmas time lunches,as well as a super comfy double chaise lounge for that afternoon nap or great book, and last but not least a cocktail area overlooking the garden with a wood burning fireplace, large sofa and chairs. Tres Leones also has a large covered outside living room that is anchored by two large sofas with a central daybed and occasional chairs, so large groups and entertaining are no problem. This outside sitting area flows into an outside dining area for 10 with an outdoor bar and a wood burning stone fireplace, especially designed for grilling.

Tres Leones provides an abundance of space and privacy for its' hosts.The upper left side of the house contains a master suite that includes an atmospheric Master bedroom with a King bed that flows into a large Master Bath with a walk in shower, copper soaking tub and dual vanity sinks and dressing area. Then up a few steps to a private office and sitting room with a gorgeous brick Boveda ceiling . Both the Master Bedroom and the Master Suite Office open onto terraces.

Just as importantly,Tres Leones provides its' host's guests great accommodations for their friends and family. All four guest bedrooms have high ceilings, reverse cycle heat and air conditioning, private ensuite bathrooms, all have 4 bedrooms Queen beds and 3 have beautiful carved Cantara gas fireplaces. 

The upper right side of the house is the exclusive domain of a large guest room with two Queen beds, so guests have their privacy, too. The two other guest rooms are on the left side of the ground floor, and the 4th bedroom is in a charming casita(guesthouse) in the garden with a Queen bed, with its' own private outside garden and sitting area.

On the right side of the ground floor is a small cozy library with flat screen television and a Cantera stone gas fireplace, all designed around a large custom down sofa to sink into. Leading from this intimate room you enter an elegant formal living room with cantara stone paving, wood paneling, games table and another carved cantara gas fireplace.

The center of the Tres Leones houses a stunning formal dining room and a completely new kitchen that charmingly combines Mexican antique furniture and rustic local tiles with all new appliances and cooking equipment. Tres Leones comes with a cook and housekeeper and a part time gardener.

There is SKY satellite television, wireless internet throughout the property, a water purification system and a garage.


The staff includes two maids, a cook (She Speaks English), and gardner and their schedule is Monday - Friday 9am-3pm and Saturday 9am-12pm. There gardner is there 5 days a week.

If you want the pool heated - it is an extra cost. Ask manager prior to arrival. The pool takes 12 hours to heat. Once the heater is started the daily gas pool fees apply until instructed to turn off the heat.
